Our testing standard

Every lot is tested before it is sold.

Each new Novaglo Research peptide lot is sampled at random from the incoming shipment and sent to an independent laboratory. Every tested vial is reported on its own, and every certificate is published.

Catalog access requires a free researcher account. Why we ask

Purity is measured by HPLC-UV. The chromatogram is printed on each report.

Counts come from certificates reported between April 1 and October 24, 2026. Contaminant screens are endotoxin, PCR microbial, heavy-metals and fentanyl results. Each lot's own result is on its certificate.

The current panel

What a new peptide lot is tested for

This is the panel run at Freedom Diagnostics, our primary laboratory. The panel has grown as the lab added tests, so earlier reports show fewer of them.

TestMethodWhat the report shows
IdentityLC-MS (HPLC with mass spectrometry)Measured ions matched to the compound's calculated mass, with the spectrum printed
PurityHPLC-UVPurity of each tested vial, the lot average and the chromatogram
Net contentHPLC quantitationMilligrams of peptide in each tested vial. Blends report each compound separately
ConformitySame tests repeated across vialsEvery vial listed, so vial-to-vial spread is visible rather than averaged away
EndotoxinLAL assay, USP <85>Two replicates, assay sensitivity ≤0.05 EU/mL
Microbial screenPCR for microbial DNANo detectable microbial DNA, or a failure
Fentanyl screenContamination screenNot detected, or a failure
Heavy metalsICP-MSArsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury below reporting or specification limits
pHMeasured in solutionpH of the reconstituted sample

How many vials

One vial describes one vial. We test several.

Conformity testing across several vials from the same lot shows whether the lot is consistent, which is why every vial is reported separately.

  1. Full production lots

8 to 10 vials at Freedom Diagnostics, each reported individually for purity and net content. Since mid-August 2026 the median is 8 vials per lot.

  2. Small lots

Scaled to the size of the purchase, so testing does not consume a large share of a small lot.

  3. Second-lab checks

MZ Biolabs quantifies 4 to 5 vials per lot it tests, each reported as a separate replicate.

  4. Random selection

Vials are pulled at random after the lot reaches us, not chosen by the manufacturer. The lab photographs them so the certificate matches the product on the shelf.

Independent laboratories

Who runs the tests

These laboratories are independent businesses. They test samples we send them and do not endorse Novaglo Research or any product.

Primary lab

Freedom Diagnostics Testing

Franklin, Tennessee

Runs the full panel on most lyophilized peptide lots. Each report carries a Search Code you can check on the lab's public lookup.

Second check

MZ Biolabs

Tucson, Arizona

Tests tablet products and randomly selected peptide lots: identity, purity and quantity by HPLC with mass spectrometry, plus endotoxin and pH. It does not offer heavy-metals testing.

Being added

Eagle Analytical

Houston, Texas

States A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Its reports will be published once the first lots are complete.

How to verify a Freedom report

You don't have to take our copy on trust. Compare it with the laboratory's own record.

Lab details and verification
  1. Find the Search Code

Open a report and find the Search Code at the top right: four letters of the client name followed by the accession number.

  2. Enter it on the lab's lookup

Use that code, or the accession number, on Freedom Diagnostics' public COA lookup.

  3. Compare field by field

Check the lot, dates, purity and net content against our copy.

Stated plainly

What these tests do not show

  • The microbial result is a PCR screen for microbial DNA. It is not a USP <71> culture sterility test.
  • Freedom Diagnostics and MZ Biolabs do not list ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Any accreditation applies to a lab's methods, not to the products it tests.
  • Endotoxin is reported as pass or fail against the assay's sensitivity; certificates do not print a numeric EU/mg value.
  • A certificate describes the lot that was sampled. It does not make any product suitable for human or veterinary use.
